The first shipment of Yeong Guan Taichung new factory

        Yeong Guan Group announced today that the first large-scale offshore wind power casting “base frame” produced in the new Taichung factory has officially rolled off the production line and sent to Europe. The product weighs 32 tons and will be sent to Europe to complete verification, and will be returned to Taiwan for installation after initial assembly. "We are proud of Taiwan's completion of the first domestically produced large-scale offshore wind power casting." the company said.

Despite various factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russo-Ukrainian war, and global inflation overlapping, the construction of the new factory in Taichung has experienced some delays in its completion schedule. However, the clouds have finally dispersed, and the unveiling of the first product symbolizes the full activation of the new factory's momentum. Yeong guan will sprint to meet the delivery schedule for castings and fulfill the demand for localization of offshore wind power in Taiwan.

        Moreover, this product is not only the first of the Taichung new factory but also the first of its kind which is made in Taiwan in the global offshore wind power industry. It signifies an important step forward for Taiwan's development in the field of wind energy and marks Taiwan's position as a center for the wind power industry. It demonstrates that Taiwan's grand strategy of targeting the global market is not only feasible but also progressing rapidly.

Yeong Guan Group also stated that the company will continue to make continuous efforts to bring more breakthroughs in the upsizing of offshore wind power castings. Soon, we will be able to witness larger-sized and much heavier products which inspire Taiwan's and the global offshore wind power market.
